The Last of Winter

Beach Fencing

We are coming to the end of the winter season, and it could not come soon enough. Those who have left Connecticut for warmer climates always seem to miss a part of the cold snap of Winter. It is those who have left that seem to appreciate the images of familiar places they played when they were a child or had a certain memory of a special location. What still amazes me about photography is its ability to create emotion. Photographs are timeless, and can stir emotion with each glimpse. Look around your walls in your home, and at the office. A sunset from a vacation getaway or a picture of your daughter’s first birthday.

Osprey Catching Fish – Egrets – Osprey Nest CT

I Finally got the photograph of an Osprey diving to catch his breakfast. This was right after the initial hit at 6:30a at South Pine Beach. The fish was a 4-5 Lb Stripped Bass.
