Chris & Krista’s Wedding

In a recent interview with a local publisher, I was asked about my style of wedding photography. I approach every wedding with the same philosophy. Capture as much of the informalities that happen between the serious stuff. In other words, the candid moments when people are being themselves. There are too many photos out there where the couple, ground are standing the same way that have for every photo-op in the past 20 years.

is what helps a wedding. Guests love to look at the children doing everything they are not supposed to be doing. Kids add a lot of energy, especially babies. So next time you’re at a wedding, try to look at the moments between the formalities, and if you are a photographer, or have photography as a serious hobby work on set up at that point.
